So much thought goes into a rebrand, so I've put together a little behind the curtains snapshot of Social Friends to show you how I bring it all together. Amber the Founder of @socialfriendsva came to me as she wanted her brand to support scaling her agency. Her business had grown, but her brand hadn't. She already had a name, but it wasn't built out any further than that. To me, the visuals felt cold, the logo was DIY, and the messaging wasn’t doing justice to the premium, high-touch VA service she was actually delivering. There was no story around Social Friends. No meaning behind the name. So that’s where we started. We built a brand that made the name make sense - rooted in connection, collaboration, and going further together. We softened the palette with buttercup yellow to nod to friendship, warmth, and trust, then balanced it with deep teals to bring in calm, confidence, and quiet luxury. We chose a serif font with movement - approachable, friendly, but still elevated. We designed a tone of voice that felt like a calm, capable teammate: warm, supportive, reassuring. And we built a story, a personality, and a style that echoed the brand point of difference, which we uncovered in the session. Now, everything matches the level of service she’s delivering, and the brand feels like them. In Amber's words, "It finally feels like us – clear, elevated, and exactly where we want to be. People constantly comment on how professional it looks, and I honestly think that shift in how we’re perceived has played a big part in our growth."

So much thought goes into a rebrand, so I've put together a little behind the...

Is it just me? Not sure if I should say this outloud...but ⁠ Someone asked me recently: what do you really want from your business? And honestly? ⁠ While I want impact and yes, I love building brands and helping my clients scale. Yes, it also lights me up to grow a business, to learn, to shape something from scratch. I don't want to be forever buried in building something that consumes all my time and energy - because there is no end came, you can always get bigger and bigger. I have a 5 year plan to get my business to the place I want it to be because.... ⁠ I also want to live....like, really live.⁠ ⁠ I want to feel free. To want to travel carefree. To make more memories. To chase summer around the world and feel the sun on my skin and not be buried in a never-ending to-do list. To help incredible humans and still have space to breathe, eat pasta, and watch the sunset without worrying about what I'm not doing.⁠ ⁠ For me, this business is about creating freedom, doing what I love, and living the type of life I love. That’s what my end goal. To build something sustainable. That’s what I help my clients build too.⁠ ⁠ A brand that gives you both: impact and *ease.*⁠ ⁠ Because what’s the point of building a brand if it costs you the life you wanted it to create in the first place?⁠ This is my WHY. Life is for living and packing in as many amazing memories as you can with the people you love, this is the currency of a life well lived.
